About

I am a designer working across architecture, product design, and theory. I have worked in Canada, America, Japan, and for the longest stint in London as project leader at Carmody Groarke before moving to Amsterdam and taking on the role Design Manager at Serge Schoemaker Architects. Since then, I has begun my own studio which pushes the bounds of traditional architecture.  I maintains as wide an interest as possible in history, fiction, technology, and philosophy which feeds directly into my design work.

I have given lectures at Kingston University and the Architecture Foundation in the UK, Rutgers University in the US, and at the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University in Canada. I have been a visiting critic at Greenwich University, Westminster University and Toronto Metropolitan University.

I have published a book about the London Canals, contributed to a book about the architect and educator George Baird, and am currently writing two novels.
You can watch me talk about utopia and the future for the Architecture Foundation here.
