Drawing on the process developed for the IXORA vases, the stool remained in plywood rather than becoming a mould for future casting. It has a lid which is the seat but which can also be opened to use as storage.

The stepped layers of plywood form a beautiful aesthetic that is only visible on the outside while the curves of the exterior are a luxurious form that also give stability and provide a place for the feet.
